Children need tissues constantly: in the car, in the washroom, at the table, in a bag. The standard box was never designed for any of those places. It is sized for a supermarket shelf. It does not fit a car door pocket or a small washroom counter, the board collapses before it is half empty, and so it ends up somewhere out of reach at exactly the moment you need it.

As a designer I could not stop seeing it as a badly proportioned object in the wrong place. So Whitefold started with the box, not the tissue - a smaller pack, sized for a washroom shelf or a car console, in board firm enough to sit out on show. The tissue inside had to be right as well, and we tested samples from several mills by hand before settling on it.

Whitefold is a family company in Panchkula. It is small, and it is meant to be. If the box on your table is better than the one it replaced, we have done our job.
